【2025. 3. 24】JICAタイ事務所長のご転任に係る訪問 / Visit to the JICA Thailand Office with Greetings to Former and New Chief Representatives
鈴木和哉JICAタイ事務所長が離任されるにあたり、SMART & STRONGプロジェクトを代表し、ランサン・ブンイトー市長らがJICAタイ事務所へのご挨拶に伺いました。また、新たに着任される作道俊介新所長にご挨拶させて頂きました。 SMART＆STRONGプロジェクトの実施・共創をいただきありがとうございます。高齢化社会におけるコミュニティケアの在り方を探り構築していくために、日本とタイの草の根からのパートナーシップを深めていけるよう、引き続きよろしくお願い致します。 JICA Thailand Office Chief Representative Mr. Kazuya Suzuki is leaving his post. On March 24, the mayor of Bueng Yitho municipality, representing SMART & STRONG Project, visited the JICA Thailand Office to greet him. They also greeted the new Chief Representative, Mr. Shunsuke Sakudo, who will assume the position. Thank you for implementing SMART & STRONG Project together. We hope to further strengthen our partnership for exploring and cultivating community care in ageing society.
【2025. 3. 24】第５回マネジメント会議をオンラインで実施しました！/ The 5th Management Committe conducted online
3月24日、SMART＆STRONGプロジェクトの第５回マネジメント会議をオンラインで実施しました。タイ全土の自治体から100名以上が参加しました。 ランサン・ブンイトー市長および内藤喜文湯河原町長からの挨拶の後、ワンナラック・タマサート大学准教授からプロジェクトの背景を説明いただきました。続いて、ティティナン・ブンイトー市医師から過去半年の活動報告、中村哲・湯河原町地域政策課副課長から今後半年間の活動計画を共有し、全体での意見交換を行いました。 JICA草の根技術協力事業としては、2022年8月に開始し3年間の期間満了として、2025年７月末にフェーズ１が一旦終了します。タイ側からは、独自に取組を実施し発展させていく旨の説明があり、湯河原町や野毛坂グローカルをはじめとする協力団体からも、引き続き協力を行う旨の話がありました。 On March 24, the 5th Management Committee of the SMART & STRONG project was held online. More than 100 participants from local authorities across Thailand attended. Opening remarks were delivered by Mr. Rangsan Nanthakawong, the Mayor of Bueng Yitho Municipality, and Mr. Yoshifumi Naito, the Mayor of Yugawara Town. Then, Associate Professor Wannalak from Thammasat University Faculty of Social Administration presented the background of this project. Medical Dr. Thitinan from Bueng Yitho Municipality reported the past six months' project activities, and Mr. Nakamura, Deputy Director of Yugawara Town Policy & Strategy Div, shared the next six months' activity plans. 【2025. 3. 22】ブンイトー市での認知症カフェ：高齢者センターで実施！/ Dementia Cafe at Bueng Yitho Municipality implemented at the Community Center
日本の事例を参考にタイではじまった認知症カフェは、各地で様々な試行をしながら広がりをみせています。今回は、3月22日にブンイトー市のピヤワラ高齢者センターで実施されました。 この高齢者センター自体が、タイでは「ブンイトーモデル」として有名です。ニュータウンを開発したデベロッパーが住民向けのコミュニティセンター（集会室、広場、プールなど）を作る事は、タイでしばしば見受けられますが、利用率が低迷し、住民の管理費負担が重荷になる事例が多くあります。 ここでは、そのコミュニティセンターを無料で市が借り受け、さらに運営を住民グループに「委託費ゼロ」で委託。市は最低限の運営費で高齢者活動センターを設立し、ニュータウンの住民は管理費負担の軽減ができるモデルとなっています。 安価にセンターを設立・運営できているため、２５平方キロの市域に対して４か所設立し、すべての住民にとって「家の近く」にセンターがある環境となり、それが更なる利用率の向上につながっています。 *プールや広場は地域の幼稚園や小学校でも使用されており、高齢者との多世代交流の機会にもなっています。また、夜間も運営しているため、働く世代はフィットネスセンターとしても利用できています。(*タイの通常の学校にはプールが併設されていません） 「高齢者センター」という名前ですが、広い意味でコミュニティにおける生活の質向上センターとして、子どもから大人まで幅広く使われています。 Dementia Cafe initiatives, which launched in 2022 at Bueng Yitho Municipality refering examples from Japan, spreads into various sites around Thailand. This time, on March 22, Dementia Cafe was held at the community center in Bueng Yitho. This center, named "Senior Citizens Center," itself is famous in Thailand as the ‘Bueng Yitho Model’. In Thailand, there are many cases that developers of new towns build community centers (ex. meeting rooms, plazas, swimming pools) for residents, but the utilisation rate is often low, and residents are burdened with its management costs. 【2025. 3. 21】電車で外出：同行するのは市民ボランティア！ブンイトー市デイケアセンターの取組 / Excursion Trip by Train, with Citizen Volunteers! Initiative by Bueng Yitho Day Care Center
3月21日、ブンイトー市のデイケアセンターは、高齢の市民と「電車で外出」イベントを開催しました。 このイベントは、タイの自治体職員や医療介護専門職による訪日研修において、神奈川県湯河原町のデイケアセンターが電車での外出機会を作っているアイデアを聞いたことで、タイ側でも実現されました。 ブンイトー市のデイケアセンターならではの取組として、鉄道会社を巻き込むことで社会の認知度を高め、鉄道会社社員の教育の場 としても活用するなど、様々な工夫をしています。また、外出には市民ボランティアが同行し、高齢者とともに出かける時間を楽しみました。 On March 21, Bueng Yitho Day Care Center hosted an excursion trip by train, with senior participants. This event was planned with the idea of Yugawara Town's Day Care Center implementing train trips in Japan. Uniquely, as a Bueng Yitho day care center's initiative, they collaborated with the Railway Companies to raise social awareness and education opportunities for railway staff members. In addition, this excursion was accompanied by citizen volunteers through their active participation.
【2025. 3. 14】韓国の大邱社会福祉協議会とSMART & STRONGプロジェクトがMOUを締結しました！/ Signing MOU between SMART & STRONG Project & Daegu Council of Social Welfare
3月14日、韓国の大邱社会福祉協議会、神奈川県湯河原町、および当SMART＆STRONGプロジェクトがMOUを締結しました。 大邱社会福祉協議会を代表してキム・ソクピョ（Mr. Kim Sug Pyo）会長、SMART＆STRONGプロジェクトを代表してランサン・ブンイトー市長らが署名しました。 他に、タイのランプン市長、カンタン市長、タマサート大学ナタパット助教授、野毛坂グローカル代表者が出席しました。 当プロジェクトは、日タイのネットワークからアジアのネットワークへと広がっています。ブンイトー市長からは、「39ヶ所のタイ側自治体を代表して感謝を申し上げる。今後、協力を深化させたい」との言葉が述べられました。 On March 14, the Daegu Council of Social Welfare from South Korea, Yugawara Town of Kanagawa Prefecture from Japan, and the SMART & STRONG project with Thailand local authorities' network, signed a MOU for collaboration on developing community-based elderly care models. The MOU was signed by Mr. Kim Sug Pyo, President of the Daegu Council of Social Welfare, and Mr. Rangsan Nanthakawong, Mayor of Bueng Yitho Municipality, Thailand, on behalf of the SMART & STRONG Project.
