3月21日、ブンイトー市のデイケアセンターは、高齢の市民と「電車で外出」イベントを開催しました。
このイベントは、タイの自治体職員や医療介護専門職による訪日研修において、神奈川県湯河原町のデイケアセンターが電車での外出機会を作っているアイデアを聞いたことで、タイ側でも実現されました。
ブンイトー市のデイケアセンターならではの取組として、鉄道会社を巻き込むことで社会の認知度を高め、鉄道会社社員の教育の場 としても活用するなど、様々な工夫をしています。また、外出には市民ボランティアが同行し、高齢者とともに出かける時間を楽しみました。
On March 21, Bueng Yitho Day Care Center hosted an excursion trip by train, with senior participants. This event was planned with the idea of Yugawara Town's Day Care Center implementing train trips in Japan.
Uniquely, as a Bueng Yitho day care center's initiative, they collaborated with the Railway Companies to raise social awareness and education opportunities for railway staff members. In addition, this excursion was accompanied by citizen volunteers through their active participation.
