2024年2月12日、パトムタニ県ブンイトー市は「認知症サポーター養成講座」を実施しました。前回の養成講座は地域の高校生を対象に実施されましたが、今回の講座の対象者は地域の中学生でした。生徒の皆さんは、ランサン・ブンイトー市長や校長先生のスピーチ、そして講義内容を真剣な眼差しで聴きながら、認知症への理解を深め、地域の中での支え合い方を考えました。受講した生徒には、下記のような「認知症サポーター認定証」も授与しました。
今回の認知症サポーター養成講座では、日本における事例も紹介しました。講師はブンイト―市の医師や看護大学の先生、そして日本からオンラインで稲田秀樹氏に講義いただきました。稲田氏は、日本の鎌倉市で地域貢献デイサービス「ワーキングデイわかば」や認知症デイサービス「ケアサロンさくら」を運営されており、「かまくら認知症ネットワーク」や「神奈川オレンジネットワーク」の代表を務められるなど、日本の地域に根差した認知症ケアを実践されている方です。

On 12 February 2024, Bueng Yitho Municipality, Pathum Thani Province, organized a "Dementia Supporter Training Course." The previous training course (for the first time) was held for local high school students. This time, the training course was held for local secondary school students.
The students listened carefully to speeches by the Mayor of Bueng Yitho Municipality and the school principal, as well as the content of the lectures, to deepen their understanding of dementia and to think about how to support people with dementia in the community. Students who attended the course also received the Dementia Supporter Certificate.
This dementia supporter training course also introduced the case of dementia care in Japan. The lecturers were medical doctors and teachers of nursing college. Mr. Hideki Inada also gave a lecture online from Japan. Mr. Inada has practiced community-based dementia care in Japan, especially in Kanagawa prefecture and Kamakura city. He runs a community contribution daycare center and a dementia daycare center. He also represents the Kamakura Dementia Network and the Kanagawa Orange Network.
