パトムタニ県ブンイトー市では、2022年から認知症カフェ（名付けて「STRONG CAFE」）が継続的に開催されています。取り組みの事例は、SMART & STRONG Projectの自治体ネットワークを通じて他自治体にも伝わり、ロブリ県カオプラガム市やラヨン県タップマー市などもブンイトー市を参考に独自の認知症カフェを開催しています。
2024年2月10日、JICAタイ事務所長の鈴木和哉氏や、元在タイ日本国大使館専門調査員の三好友良氏、そして日本から介護ケアビジネスに係るコンサルティング企業の方がブンイトー市の現場を訪問され、実際の認知症カフェの様子を見学いただきました。
In Bueng Yitho Municipality, Pathum Thani Province, the Dementia Cafe named "STRONG CAFE" has been continuously held since 2022. This initiative has been introduced to other municipalities through the network of this SMART & STRONG Project, and Khao Phra Ngam Municipality & Thap Ma Municipality also individually started their dementia cafes in 2023, referring to the case of Bueng Yitho.
On February 10th, 2024, Mr. Kazuya Suzuki, The Cheif Director of the JICA Thailand Office, Mr. Yusuke Miyoshi, a former researcher at the Embassy of Japan in Thailand, and a consulting company on care-related business in Japan, visited the site of Dementia Cafe at Bueng Yitho Municipality.
