2023年11月23日に「Thailand Smart City Expo 2023」が開催されました。このイベントは、タイの地方行政局 (DOPA) およびデジタル経済推進省(depa)、日本の国際協力機構 (JICA) により実施されました。
当プロジェクトのカウンターパートでもある、タマサート大学社会福祉学部のナタパット助教授とパトムタニ県ブンイトー市のティティナン医師が、「自治体のネットワークにより相互発展を促すSMART & STRONG Project」というテーマで、ゲストスピーカーとして発表しました。当プロジェクトでは、「住民のニーズに基づく、住民によるイノベーション（新たな手法）のまちづくり」を推進しているため、スマートシティの枠組みで取り組みを紹介する運びとなりました。
On November 23rd, 2023, the 'Thailand Smart City Expo 2023' was held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC). This event was held with the theme "Smart Cities for All: Promoting Inclusivity and Sustainability," organized by the Department of Local Administration, Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa) of Thailand, and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
In the event, the counterpart of this project, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nattapat Sarobol from the Faculty of Social Administration, Thammasat University and Medical Dr. Thitinan Nakphu from Bueng Yitho Municipality, Patumthani province were invited to be guest speakers entitled “SMART & STRONG Project to Foster Mutual Development through Networked Local Authorities.“
Since this project promotes 'innovation (new approaches) of community development by residents based on their needs', we are pleased to have Prof. Nattapat and Dr. Thitinan as guest speakers to share our initiatives in public through the framework of 'smart city.'
