11月6日から11月10日まで、日本国際交流センター（JCIE）と東アジア・アセアン経済研究センター（ERIA）の招待で、SMART & STRONGプロジェクトから、ブンイトー市のティティナン医師が来日し、日本の高齢者ケアを学ぶスタディツアーに参加しました。
このスタディツアーへの招待は、野毛坂グローカルと神奈川県湯河原町、タイ ブンイトー市、タップマー市、タマサート大学の5団体が2021年度に共同受賞した「アジア健康長寿イノベーション賞（JCIEおよびERIA主催）」を基に行われました。
日本の高齢者福祉関係に携わる医療、福祉、コミュニティ関係機関への訪問や意見交換を実施し、ベトナム・シンガポール・中国で高齢化に取り組む団体の参加者と共に、日本の高齢者ケアの政策・制度や実践を学びました。
またこの機会を活用し、10日午後には東京都国立市を訪問しました。2023年8がウニ当プロジェクトに関わるタイの自治体を訪問いただき、現地でのセミナーを実施いただいたこともある、新田國夫医師のもとを訪れました。
From November 6 to 10, M.D. Thitinan Nakph from Bueng Yitho Municipality visited Japan from the SMART & STRONG Project, through the invitation of the Japan Center for International Exchange (JCIE) and the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), and participated in a study tour about Eldercare in Japan.
The invitation to this study tour was based on the Healthy Aging Prize for Asian Innovation (hosted by JCIE and ERIA), which Nogezaka Glocal, Yugawara Town in Kanagawa Prefecture, Bueng Yitho Municipality, Thap Ma Municipality, and Thammasat University was jointly awarded in 2021.
They visited medical, welfare, and community organizations involved in the welfare of the elderly in Japan, and exchanged opinions with participants from organizations working on Ageing in Vietnam, Singapore, and China, to learn about Japanese policies, systems, and practices of elderly care.
On the afternoon of October 10, they also visited M.D. Kunio Nitta in Kunitachi City, Tokyo, who visited and conducted a seminar for local municipalities in Thailand involved in this SMART & STRONG project.
