【2025. 4. 29】タイ生命科学研究所および医療保障機構幹部らの訪日にあたり、当事業の日タイ連携や革新性を紹介しました！/ SMART & STRONG Project's Collaboration & Innovation introduced to the Executives of TCELS/NHSO from Thailand

4月29日、タイ政府の研究・意思決定機関として保健医療福祉の政策やイノベーションを担う、タイ生命科学研究所（TCELS）および医療保障機構（NHSO）の理事長・幹部へ、当SMART & STRONG プロジェクトの概要や日タイ連携、マネジメント手法の革新性についてご紹介し、意見交換をさせていただきました。（於：JICA市ヶ谷　大会議室）

The SMART & STRONG Project gained an opportunity to present our innovative approaches to population ageing and community-based integrated care through the Japan-Thailand network, to the delegates of executives from Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Science (TCELS) and National Health Security Office (NHSO) on 29 April (at JICA Global Plaza).

TCELSは、タイにおける生命科学技術の研究とイノベーション促進を牽引し、政策に大きな影響力を持つ機関です。また、NHSOはタイにおける医療保障制度のマネジメント（保健医療サービスの質の維持・向上に係る政策実施）を担い、今後の政策の方向性にも権限を持つ機関です。

TCELS理事長Prof. Dr. Prasit Watanapa（元マヒドン大学シリラート医学部長）やNHSO事務局長Dr. Jadej Thammatachareeをはじめとする幹部の訪日にあたり、日タイで高齢化への取組を共創する当事業のイノベーションに着目いただき、今回の意見交換の場が実現しました。

This invaluable occasion was realized since this project's innovation, co-creating community-based integrated elderly care across municipalities, thankfully gained attention from Prof. Dr. Prasit Watanapa, TCELS Chairman of the Board, Dr. Jadej Thammatacharee, NHSO Secretary General, and other senior officials.

冒頭、三好友良学術振興会特別研究員から、日タイの人口高齢化と社会保障・保健医療政策の動向、当SMART & STRONGプロジェクトの概要についてご説明いただきました。続いて、沖浦文彦大阪経済大学教授よりプログラム/プロジェクトマネジメントやCommunity of Practice（CoP）の観点から、当事業の革新性を分析・解説いただきました。

At the outset, Mr. Yusuke Miyoshi, Ph.D. candidate, Graduate School of Humanities and Sociology, The University of Tokyo (Research Fellow of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science), presented the outlook of population ageing, trend of social security / long-term care policies, and overview of this SMART & STRONG Project, comparing situations between Thailand and Japan.

Then, Prof. Fumihiko Okiura, Ph.D. Dean, Faculty of International Co-Creativity and Innovation, Osaka University of Economics, explained the analysis of innovative approaches in this project from the perspectives of Project Management and Community of Practice (CoP).

また、藤田医科大学助教授のDr. Sopak Supakul医師からは、ご自身の研究分野でもあるiPS細胞の日タイ協力による実用化についてプレゼンテーションを頂きました。当日は、徳島大学博士課程の峯本まゆ医師にも同席いただきながら、タイにおける今後の高齢社会の在り方やコミュニティの役割、当事業も実施する認知症ケアについて意見交換しました。

Dr. Sopak Supakul, M.D. Assistant Professor, Fujita Health University, also gave a presentation on the medical research and practical application of iPS cells, through Japan-Thailand cooperation. On the day, M.D. Mayu Minemoto, MPH in Intensivist at Seiwa Medical Center, PhD student at Tokushima University, also attended the meeting. It became a fruitful exchange of ideas on the future of the ageing society in Thailand, the role of communities, and dementia care implementation.

今後、政策立案・実施機関との連携も更に加速化し、現在タイの自治体39ヶ所で学び合うコミュニティケアの在り方を、持続的に発展・波及していく方策を探っていきたいと考えています。

We intend to further accelerate information exchange and recommendations with policy-making/implementing agencies and explore ways to sustainably develop and disseminate community-based integrated long-term care practices with collaboration among the local authorities' network.
