生活習慣病予防の啓発活動の奨励・普及を図るため、 優れた啓発活動・取組の奨励・普及を図ることを目的とし、厚生労働省（スマート・ライフ・プロジェクト）およびスポーツ庁が主催する第１４回 健康寿命をのばそう！アワードにおいて、神奈川県湯河原町（当事業実施団体）で活動する「チームあおぞら」が介護予防・高齢者生活支援分野で厚生労働省老健局長 優良賞を受賞されました。
The 14th “Extend Your Healthy Life Expectancy! Award” was held aiming to promote and disseminate awareness-raising initiatives for the prevention of lifestyle-related diseases, jointly organized by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) and the Japan Sports Agency. “Team Aozora” in Yugawara Town was honored with the Excellence Award of the Director-General of the Health and Welfare Bureau for the Elderly, MHLW, in the field of long-term care prevention and support for older adults’ daily living.

チームあおぞらは、湯河原町において高齢者やご家族、民生委員、ケアマネージャー、介護経験者といった様々な市民を巻き込みながら、認知症カフェの企画運営に取り組まれています。
当SMART & STRONGプロジェクトの実施にあたっても、チームあおぞらの皆様には、訪日研修時にタイの自治体・医療福祉関係者へ活動紹介をして頂くなど、様々なご協力をいただいています。2025年7月には、チームあおぞらの皆様にタイを訪問していただき、タイで活躍するボランティア等と交流・意見交換会を実施しました。
当事業として、チームあおぞらの皆様の受賞を心よりお喜び申し上げます。
Team Aozora has been actively engaged in the planning and operation of dementia cafés in Yugawara Town, involving a wide range of community members, including older adults and their families, community welfare volunteers, care managers, and individuals with caregiving experience.
In the implementation of the SMART & STRONG Project, Team Aozora has also provided invaluable cooperation, including introducing their activities to local government officials and health and welfare professionals from Thailand during study visits to Japan. Furthermore, in July 2025, members of Team Aozora visited Thailand, and they engaged in exchange and opinion-sharing sessions with Thai volunteers and other local actors actively working there.
As part of this project, we extend our sincere congratulations to all members of Team Aozora.
