【2022. 11. 24】『地域に根差した認知症セミナー』を実施しました！/ "Community-based Dementia Seminar" connecting Japan & Thailand

タイ国パトムタニ県ブンイトー市医療・リハビリテーションセンターとオンライン（Zoom）にて、日本とタイを繋いだ「地域に根差した認知症セミナー」を開催いたしました！

「認知症カフェ」をはじめとする、日本の地域に根差した認知症ケアの背景や事例を、タイの自治体職員の皆さんへ共有しました。

現地では、本プロジェクトのネットワーク自治体に参加されているブンイトー市、タップマー市の医療福祉関係職員の皆さんを中心に、約40名の方が集まりました。

また、タイ各地から約35か所、日本からもオブサーバーの方が、オンラインにて参加されました。

今回のセミナーにおける講話と質疑応答を通して、国や地域、所属する機関や団体の枠をとびこえて、相互に学び合える機会が生まれていれば幸いです。そして、それらの学びがそれぞれの現場でどう活かされていくのか、これからが楽しみです。

"Community-based Dementia Seminar" was held by connecting Japan and Thailand via Zoom (online) in the Bueng Yitho Municipality Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Pathum Thani Province, Thailand.

We shared the background and examples of community-based dementia care in Japan, including "dementia cafes," with officials of local authorities in Thailand.

Approximately 40 people gathered at the site, mainly medical and welfare staff from Bueng Yitho Municipality and Thap Ma Municipality, participating in this project's network of local governments.

About 35 people from various parts of Thailand and observer participants from Japan also participated online.

Through this seminar's lectures and Q&A sessions, we hope that participants could have the opportunity to learn about community-based dementia care from each other, beyond national and regional boundaries, or the belonging institutions and organizations, and we look forward to seeing how these learnings can be utilized in each field of elderly care.
